Wayne County Senior Fun Fest/Blue Cross Blue Shield Awards June 2011
It was a beautiful day
for the 8th Annual Senior Fun Fest! Information Center volunteer, Edith
Deegan of Grosse Ile received a Claude Pepper honorable mention
certificate for her individual efforts and
work with the senior community. The awards were presented at the Blue
Cross Blue Shield 2011 Community Service Awards ceremony Saturday, June
25th, Hines Park, Dearborn Heights.
In
addition, The Information Center accepted a Diana C. Jones, honorable
mention certificate which recognizes organizations for extraordinary
volunteer community service work which benefits older adults.
